The Salesians came to Naigaon in May 1999. Fr. William Falcao, began the school with a single division for kindergarten and classes I and II. The school got its official recognition in 2003, and sent its first batch of SSC students in March of the same year.
In 2008, Fr. Bonnie Borges, as the Principal, started a junior college with the Commerce section and later in 2010 officially obtained permission to start the I.T. and Computer Science. The Arts section did not take off for want of students and teachers. The presence of the school and now the college has been the major contributing factor to spiritual growth of the parish. Each successive principal, Fr. Flovi D’Souza too has enhanced the educational facilities.
The present Salesian Community of Naigaon East,
Believes firmly that it is called by God to be the face of St. John Bosco and spread his charisma to the people and youth, in particular, to the poor and the marginalized of the Parish.
Fr. Orville Coutinho, and Fr. Glen Fernandes – Parish Priest and Principal
Although there is no Church Structure, it is the desire of the Community to make the parish have its roots in Christ and become an empowered and Vibrant Parish.
To build an environment conducive to making parishioners self-reliant, participating and alive. Thereby meeting their aspirations and adding quality to their lives.
