Church Announcements (08th-09th Nov)
1. Today is Feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica. Feasts during the week are as follows:
· Monday 10th Nov is the feast of St Leo the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church
· Tuesday 11th Nov is the feast of St Martin of Tours
· Wednesday 12th is the Feast of St Josephat, Bishop and Martyr
· Saturday 15th Nov is the feast of St Albert the Great, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.
2. Our parish Intercommunity Tournament will be held tomorrow/today, 9th Nov at Don Bosco Turf from 10.30am onwards. We’re happy to share that 12 teams will be participating this year! We invite all parishioners to come in large numbers to cheer our community players.
3. The youth of our parish invite you to a Gospel Praise Night on Saturday, 29th November 2025, from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the church site. Featuring powerful preaching by Fr. Andrew Dantis, this evening promises to be a spirit-filled celebration. Join us with your loved ones and be part of this uplifting experience!Kindly note: This praise and worship night is open to all, requesting everyone to spread the word.
4. Our Parish is compiling a list of professionals who wish to render services to the community. If you’re interested, kindly fill out the Google form that has been circulated across WhatsApp groups. For any queries or assistance, kindly reach out to your respective community leaders.
5. The Youth of our Parish warmly invite all our senior citizens to a joyful get-together filled with laughter, love, memories, and the spirit of Christmas.Date: Thursday, 4th December 2025.Venue: Church Site ,Time: 10:00 a.m. onwards. Please register your names with the Youth Animator or Effie Aunty before 25th November 2025. Please Note : This get-together is only for senior citizens. There are no charges for this event. Entry is free.Let us come together to celebrate the wisdom, warmth, and joy of our elders as we prepare for the Christmas season.
6. Kindly note: Today being the second Sunday of the month, there will be SVP collections, kindly be generous. Sunday 26th October collection amounted to Rs. 38,467, and last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 25,930. Thank you for your kind generosity.
