Church Announcements (14th – 15th March 2026)

1.          Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent also known as Laetare Sunday. It signals hope amid Lenten penance.

·         Tuesday 17th March is the feast of St Patrick

·         Thursday 19th March is Solemnity of St. Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

2.          The Diocesan Family Commission has organized its annual gathering on the theme “Spirituality of Christian Couples” on Thursday, 19th March 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Kripa Mata Hall, Thomas Baptista College, Papdy. We encourage all married persons, and in particular couples who have completed 1 to 15 years of marriage, to take part in this gathering. The program will begin at 4:00 p.m. with registration and refreshments. A Google link for registration is circulated in all Parish groups. Last date to register is Sunday 15th March. For any queries or assistance, please contact your respective community leaders.

3.          Kindly note this Sunday i.e15th March will be the last day of Sunday school for this Academic year. We wish to thank all our Sunday school teachers for their time & efforts in shaping our children’s faith and values.

Also note that there will be Family Cell meeting this Sunday i.e 15th March after 9am mass at Church site.

4.          Mary Help of Christians Parish, Naigaon East invites everyone for the Lenten Spiritual Renewal on 16th, 17th & 18th March. There will be a special Lenten session by our guest speaker Fr. Ashlyn Chand after the 7pm mass. Parishioners are encouraged to attend in large numbers. Poster with further details is already shared with all animators and PPC members.

5.         On Sunday, April 19th, at 6:30 p.m. mass, the youth of our parish will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Kindly pray for our youth as they embark on this significant milestone in their spiritual journey. It is reiterated that that 7pm mass on 19th April 2026 at church site is being shifted to 6.30pm due to Confirmation.

6.         Tomorrow Sunday 15th March, there will be parents meeting of the confirmation students after the 8:00am Mass at Don Bosco. All Confimandis are requested to get at least one parent/guardian for this meet.

7.         We, the St Joseph Community, will be celebrating the Feast of our Patron on 19th March at 8:00 PM. You are warmly invited to join us for this special celebration. The Holy Mass will be celebrated at our Community Grotto. All are most welcome ❤️

8.         Kindly note SVP collections amounted to Rs. 28,000. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 37,237 (Thirty-seven thousand two hundred and thirty-seven)
