Church Announcements (20th -21st Dec)
1. Tomorrow/Today is the 4th Sunday of Advent.
2. On Wednesday 24th December, mass in the morning will be as usual at 6.30am in Don Bosco. Christmas Vigil will begin with Carol singing at 9.30pm followed by mass at 10pm in the Church. On 25th Dec Christmas day mass will be at 9am in the church. Kindly note that there will be no evening mass on 25th Dec.
3. On Wednesday 31st December, mass in the morning will be as usual at 6.30am in Don Bosco. On New year service will begin from with Adoration at 9.00 pm, and New Year Mass at 10.00 pm in the Church. On 01st Jan, Mass will be at 9.00 am in the Church. Kindly note that there will be no evening Mass on 1st Jan.
4. Don Bosco School is pleased to invite applications for Nursery admissions for the upcoming academic year. To apply, kindly visit school’s website between 15th Dec to 31st Dec 2025, or contact Fr. Anthony Foncesa.
5. As we approach Christmas Eve, the youth of our parish are excited to present the following events:
· 27th & 28th Dec: Community Crib & Star judging
· 03rd Jan: New Year Bash at Church site
We encourage all our parishoners to take part in large numbers. For more details kindly contact your respective community leaders or Animators.
6. Tomorrow, Sunday, December 21st, a group of our students will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at the 9:00 AM Mass in the church. Please join us in keeping them in your prayers as they take this beautiful and important step in their faith journey. Kindly note that there will be no Sunday school tomorrow i.e 21st December, next Sunday 28th December & Also on 4th Jan 2026.
7. All children receiving First Holy Communion next academic year must enrol by January 2026 and attend preparation classes from January onwards. Parents of children in Third Standard must ensure enrolment in Catechism/Sunday School. Attendance from January is mandatory. Parents are requested to ensure timely enrolment and regular attendance.
8. SVP collection amounted to Rs 16,000. Thank you for your kind generosity.
Church Announcements (13th -14th Dec)
1. Today is the 3rd Sunday of Advent, also known as Gaudete Sunday
2. We are pleased to announce that Fr. Anthony Foncesa will be celebrating the Silver Jubilee of his Priesthood on Tuesday 16th Dec 2025. To commemorate this special occasion, a Eucharistic Mass will be held on Tuesday at 6pm in the Church, which will be presided over by Bishop Thomas D’Souza.It is re-emphasized that there will be no 7pm mass on Tuesday 16th December.
3. On 24th December, the choir will sing carols from 9.30pm onwards followed by Solemn Christmas Mass at 10.00 pm in the Church. On 25th Dec, Christmas Mass will be at 9.00 am in the Church. There will be no evening Mass.
4. On 31st Dec 2025 there will be Adoration service at 9.00 pm, and New Year Mass at 10.00 pm in the Church. 01st Jan, Mass will be at 9.00 am in the Church. There will be no evening Mass.
5. Bishop Thomas D’Souza was consecrated as the 3rd Bishop of the Diocese of Vasai on 15th December 2024. There will be a Special Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Bishop Thomas D’Souza on Monday, 15th December at 7.00 am in Our Lady of Grace Cathedral, Papdy.
All the Priests, Religious Brothers and Sisters as well as the Faithful are cordially invited to pray for and join in the Episcopal Mass on Monday, 15th December.

8. Kindly note: There will be parents meeting for the 2nd batch of 1st Holy Communicants tomorrow i.e 14th Dec soon after 8am mass in Don Bosco hall. There be will be no catechism from 21st Dec to 5th Jan. However, Students must attend mass on all these days.

3. Schedule of Marriage Preparation Course conducted by Diocese of Vasai is shared with all community leaders and Animators. Those interested are requested to contact their respective leaders or animators.

· December 7th: Christmas Art & Craft Day at the Church site (Age group 4-16)
· December 13th: Carol Singing at the Church site (Each group will have 5 minutes to perform)
